Supercharge Your Guitar Practice Time
Lesson 2: Slow It Down
Today’s lesson is an easy one. Three words: SLOW IT DOWN.
When you practice, play much more slowly than you would if you were playing. Whether you’re working on something as
fundamental as a chord change or something more complex, like a fingerstyle solo or a classical etude, play it much more slowly than you would
expect it to sound if you were playing for an audience.

In fact, don’t even start to speed it up until you can play it slowly without making any mistakes.
That’s right. It’s so important I’ll say it again. Don’t even start to speed it up until you can play it slowly without making any
mistakes.
If you think that will take a long time, don’t forget to also use what you learned in lesson one.
